Where did the name LuciLife come from?

"LUCI" stands for Life Using Connected Intelligence.

We developed the name to represent our solutions that leverage connected intelligence to improve our lives, enable independence and provide added peace of mind.

Does the pendant work off of my cell phone?

Our pendants are stand-alone devices and do not require you to connect to or be in range of your cell phone.

The LuciLife Pendant communicates over the 4G LTE network, so it will work on it's on where you have a 4G LTE signal.

Is the pendant water proof?

Our pendant is not waterproof but it is water resistant. It meets the IPX6 water resistant certification which means that it resists high-pressure, heavy sprays of water but it cannot be submerged in water.

Many of our customers want to make sure they are protected while showering and we recommend adding something simple like a 3M hook in the shower where you can hang your pendant and ensure that it is within reach if a fall were to occur, but not in the direct spray of the water.

Are there any hidden fees?

No!

We do not charge equipment fees, activation fees or shipping fees like most of our competition.

When you sign up as a customer we do charge the first quarter of your monthly monitoring fee ($104.85) at the time of purchase, and then we will charge you $34.95 beginning in month four on a monthly basis moving forward.
